Seeed Studio reCamera and reComputer Mini Unveiled at Embedded World 2025
At Embedded World 2025, Seeed Studio showcased the reCamera, a compact, all-in-one AI vision system. Measuring just 40mm x 40mm, the reCamera features a built-in processor capable of 1 TOPS, enabling it to handle preprocessing, inferencing, and postprocessing without relying on external compute power.
It runs Node-RED directly on-device, allowing developers to integrate AI vision and control logic through a visual flow-based interface. The live demo included a brushless gimbal setup, with the reCamera identifying objects and issuing control commands entirely on its own. It currently previews at 720p but supports up to 2K resolution for higher-quality pipelines.

reComputer Mini – 100 TOPS in the Palm of Your Hand
For more demanding AI workloads, Seeed introduced the reComputer Mini. Powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX or Nano, it delivers up to 100 TOPS of performance in a compact, low-profile case. This unit is engineered for edge applications like robotics, smart vehicles, and embedded vision systems.
The reComputer Mini includes PCIe expansion, dual CAN interfaces, and multi-channel Ethernet, giving it flexibility for real-world deployment. Developers benefit from compatibility with NVIDIA’s JetPack SDK and Ubuntu-based tooling, with a thermal design optimised for fanless operation.

Watcher – A Conversational AI Agent for Physical Spaces
Also on display was the Watcher, a voice-controlled AI interface designed to bring conversational agents into real-world settings. Unlike traditional assistants, it doesn't rely on fixed commands — instead, users interact naturally, and the device responds in context.
In the demo, Watcher answered questions about the booth setup and was shown communicating with local systems. The aim is to link natural speech input to IoT control systems, simplifying user interaction for smart homes and workspaces. While still in development, it hints at Seeed’s long-term vision of accessible, embedded AI interfaces for daily environments.
Seeed Studio’s 2025 product lineup focuses on pushing AI capabilities to the edge. From compact vision systems like reCamera to embedded AI compute via reComputer and conversational control through Watcher, these tools reflect a clear direction: AI that’s local, efficient, and easy to integrate.
